Goa
Goa needs little introduction — golden beaches, Portuguese-era churches and forts, and a nightlife scene that runs from beach shacks to full-blown clubs, all packed into a small, easy-to-explore coastline. North Goa leans lively and social, South Goa calmer and more scenic, and both are dotted with everything from budget guesthouses to five-star beach resorts. It's equally suited to a boisterous group trip, a relaxed family beach holiday, or a romantic getaway, depending on which stretch of coast you choose.
ClimateTropical coastal climate — hot and humid; heavy monsoon rain June to September.
