Mantralayam
Mantralayam is a small, deeply devotional pilgrim town built entirely around the mutt and samadhi of Sri Raghavendra Swamy on the banks of the Tungabhadra. The pace here is quiet and reflective rather than touristic — most visitors come specifically for darshan and rituals at the river ghat. Stays are simple and pilgrim-oriented, and the trip suits devotees more than general sightseers.
